We introduce novel ideas to Generative Models, which fuses "data oriented learning" and "logical reasoning" at high levels, resulting in enhanced recognition and prediction.
Graduated from University of Tsukuba, Graduate School of System and Engineering. Starting work for Michelin in the same year, he experienced several project management jobs. After working at FiNC technologies（a AI startup in Japan), he co-founded MinD in a Device.
Graduated from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering in 2013. After working at Rakuten, he joined several AI startups as a CTO. In 2018, he co-founded MinD in a Device.
Dr. Kamada is co-founder of ACCESS Co. Ltd. (listed in Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global software company for mobile devices and various information appliances. Dr. Kamada received a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Tokyo. He is also renowned as the inventor of “Compact HTML” for mobile phones, enabling successful mobile Internet services in the early days of the Internet. ACCESS went to IPO in 2001. Then, he extended their business globally with acquiring PalmSource Inc. (PalmOS company) and some other startups. After retiring from ACCESS, in 2012, Dr. Kamada founded “TomyK Ltd.” – Startup Booster, which actively supports young innovative startups, especially in the areas of Robotics and AI, Human Augmentation, Biotechnology, Medical & Life Science, Space, and other frontier technologies. He is the author of the book “Tech Startups and Entrepreneurs Create the Future” (in Japanese, University Tokyo Press, 2017) and gives many lectures on entrepreneurship.
Yutaka Matsuo is a project associate professor at Institute of Engineering Innovation, the University of Tokyo. He received his BS, MS, and Ph.D degrees from the University of Tokyo in 1997, 1999, and 2002 (supervised by Prof. Ishizuka). He joined National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) from 2002 to 2007. His major is web mining (especially on social network mining), text processing, and semantic web in the context of artificial intelligence research.He is one of the prominent young researchers in the information technology field in Japan. He wrote more than 80+ journal papers in Japanese for the past seven years besides 100+ international conference papers. He received the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI) Best Paper Award in 2002, JSAI Anniversary Project Award in 2006, and Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ) Nagao Special Researcher Award in 2008. He joined the editorial committee of JSAI since 2004, served as editor-in-chief in 2012-2014. He got Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research Abroad in 2005 and stayed for two years at Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI), Stanford University. After coming back to Japan, he joined the faculty of the University of Tokyo in 2007
